We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed, through sports, to encouraging, leading, teaching, and developing young men and women to become Godly leaders within the community, grounded in Christian principles. We also seek to provide meaningful value to homeschool families and actively give back to the homeschool community, supporting their unique educational and athletic journeys.

Guest Speaker: Lighthouse Christian College Head Football Coach Dave Wilson
Coach Dave Wilson brings decades of high-level football experience to the Lighthouse Christian College Makos, where his leadership has been instrumental in shaping a competitive and disciplined program. With a 25-year coaching career spanning high school, Division I college, and professional football, Wilson’s accomplishments include an NCAA National Championship, SEC and ACC titles, and a Florida State High School Championship. His extensive background includes key roles at Florida State, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, and Nicholls State, as well as serving as Director of Player Personnel for the AFL’s Tampa Bay Storm.
Known for his sharp eye for talent and strong recruiting ability, Coach Wilson has helped develop numerous standout athletes including Calvin Johnson, Deshard Choice, Derrick Brooks, and Danny Wuerffel. His deep roots in Florida football and success across every level of the game have been vital to the Makos’ growth. Under his guidance, Lighthouse Christian College football continues to build a strong culture of excellence, discipline, and championship-level performance.
